The Game Of Asteroids - A Scratch Project

This is a preview of the game I made in scratch - Asteroids


PLAY THE GAME BELOW


Asteroids is simple game  in which you have to destroy the asteroid using bullets from your spaceship.If the bullet touches the asteroid the asteroid disappears.If the asteroid touches the spaceship the spaceship breaks down.

How to Play :

  1. Spaceship - To move right press the s key.To move left press the a key.To move up press the up arrow key.To move down press the down arrow key.To rotate left press the left arrow key and to rotate right press the right arrow key.
  2. Asteroid - The asteroid moves automatically in a random direction.If it touches the spaceship the spaceship will break down and if it gets touched by the bullet it will disappear.

  3. Bullet - The spaceship shoots the bullet whenever the space key is pressed. It will always move in the direction the spaceship is pointing towards.

    HI Siddhant, this is quite the achievement. Very impressive. When I was a kid, I used to play Atari which was also an Asteroid game. So this game is very dear to me. Looking forward to playing your game.

    Siddhanth, well done. Reminds me of a shoot-the-submarine game I programmed as a kid on the clunky computers of the 1980s. This is far, far more elegant.

    Siddhanth - very good effort! I almost got hooked onto it, because I was unable to smash the asteroid for quite some time. But, finally, I did, and watched with satisfaction it's disappearing into pieces.

    Keep up the good work, and hope to see more such interesting stuff from you in the future.
